This is the first book I've read by this Author and it was good read from beginning to end. Since it was a series, I made sure I had all four books before I started and I'm so glad i did cause once I was finished I needed to next back like ASAP. Totally enjoyed the story. the only drawback however, was the grammar errors and that nobody caught the errors. Nonetheless, I won't allow poor grammar to lessen the fact that it's a good story and I enjoyed it. Loved the characters of Stacks and Lala, I love a strong male character as Stacks, definitely can't wait for PT.2. Highly recommend and you won't be disappointed and the sex scenes were HOT!!Product details

I can relate to the author's bio because I too started writing in middle school. After skipping this book and reading the first part of Fallin for a boss and married too a boss I realize I needed to full in the blanks. It's really nice to see Stack and LaLa from A to Z
Good read. My 1st time experience with the author. My only dislike was the men physically hitting on the women. I'm ok with threats but not actual hands on. I will continue on to part 2. The envy situations between the characters has my anxiety level sky high.
This book could've had several titles...."Keep your friend close and your enemies closer" or "Snakes in the grass" or "Back stabbers", and the list goes on. I love Stacks and how he handled his business. Lala is a women looking for true love and at the same time made sure she got her education....The rest of the characters had some devilish ways that are sure to be exposed in part 2 (I hope)! Lucinda you did an awesome job in writing this book, please don't take too long in bringing us part 2.
This story started out interesting because here is a female Lala trying to do right and go to school to become a nurse, but have to deal with drug dealer boyfriend James that loves her but cannot leave the street and the side chicks alone. But he soon realized that it will be too late when she falls in the arms of other man Stack and the rest is history. This is going at a slow pace for my taste, but I am all in because I am on part 3 now. And the story continues....
This was a good start to this book. I really hope that stakes get la la back alive and well. I hope he finds Bear Ass out? I hope and pray that Lisa is alive and fighting for her life. And that she makes it. But. All in all this is a really good book. So I rate this book a 5 Stars. Can't wait to read part 2.
This book was a roller coaster. I want to say that it was typical but it was actually lacking a little spice and the overall gangsta factor that it was trying to portray. The book was like a rollercoaster of sex in relation to how is sleeping with who because everybody was sleeping with everybody. Nobody is selective or conscious of who they are sleeping with these days if you read a lot of these books and they are willing and ready to have any and everybody's baby. That's crazy. They book had too, too, too many errors and sometimes that can make a book so hard to read. The book wasn't all bad but I wouldn't recommend it. There are other things that you could be doing with your time. Maybe next time.
This was definitely an amazing book from beginning to end. It's sad the things people have to go through to find true love as well as how a person can use someone else to get what they want. Stacks was truly a great man who has been through some things but still went after what he felt was right! Lala was a sweet girl. I'm glad she got her act together and put her happiness first. Lisa was always a great friend. Some of the characters such as Tasha, Ashley, James, and Bear would honestly get under your skin. I can't wait to read part 2! Hope there isn't a super long wait. Lol. Lucinda definitely did her thing with this one!
